The aim of the course is to give participants the foundational knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure.
You’ll start with an introduction to the cloud in general. Then you’ll dive into concepts like shared responsibility, different cloud models, and explore the unique pricing method for the cloud.
Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned professional, mastering the basics of Microsoft Azure can jump-start your career and prepare you for deeper exploration of the numerous technical opportunities Azure offers.
This certification validates your foundational knowledge of cloud services and how they are provided through Azure.
Azure Fundamentals certification is an excellent fit if you want to:
- Showcase your understanding of cloud computing concepts, models, and services, including public, private, and hybrid cloud, as well as infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
- Demonstrate your expertise in how Azure supports security, privacy, compliance, and trust.
Candidates for certification should demonstrate a fundamental understanding of cloud concepts, Azure services, workloads, security, privacy, pricing, and support.
Familiarity with networking, storage, compute, application support, and application development concepts is recommended.
While the Azure Fundamentals certification can strengthen your foundation for other Azure role-based or specialty certifications, it is not a prerequisite for any of them.
