Allies@Work: Building Fair and Supportive Workplaces

About the Event

How can men act as allies in creating fair and supportive workplaces? And what practical steps can individuals and companies take to make a real difference?

This event represents the third and fourth session of our Allies@Work program. The first session took place this spring at the UK Embassy in Bratislava (see photos here. ).

The discussion is primarily aimed at men who want to actively support fair and respectful workplaces. Participants will share experiences, reflect on common challenges, and explore practical ways to act as allies within their teams and organizations.

Research shows that workplaces where people feel respected and supported are more innovative, productive, and profitable. This session focuses on the role men can play in fostering fairness, respect, and opportunity at work—benefiting colleagues as well as overall business performance.

While the event is designed with men in mind, everyone interested in the topic is welcome to attend.
