As early as elementary school, girls dream about what they will become one day.

We want to show them that they can program their dreams - maybe even in Python!

Our programs and activities for girls aim to spark their interest in technology, and show them that programming and IT can be creative and fun.

Programs for Girls

8-15 years old

Since 2017, the Scratch Match competition has inspired primary school girls to explore the world of technology.


Participants use their talent and creativity to design a computer game, fun animation, or story using the beginner-friendly Scratch programming language.

A creative Saturday workshop where girls learn the basics of Scratch programming, while their parents enjoy breakfast and discuss their daughters’ career prospects.

The ENTER program, an initiative of Slovak Telekom, is implemented in partnership with OZ Učíme s hardware and Aj Ty v IT. This educational project introduces the latest innovations in computer science teaching through material support and tailored teaching methodologies.

We regularly visit primary schools to organize workshops on various topics, enhancing computer science lessons and introducing the exciting opportunities that IT offers for studies and careers.

We spark curiosity and demonstrate exciting ways for girls and families to explore technology, including:

  • Programming Ozobot robots with markers
  • Programming micro:bit computers
  • Creating games, animations, or stories in Scratch
  • Building and coding LEGO robots

We provide girls with their first systematic learning experiences with Aj Ty v IT, fostering creativity and technical skills:

  • Fun programming with code.org
  • Advanced Scratch programming

Scratch is a block-based programming language that teaches basic programming principles, making it easy to transition to more advanced environments like micro:bits.
