During high school, girls are exploring career options and preparing for their future.
Whether they plan to continue their studies or enter the workforce, we support them through a variety of FREE workshops, courses, and activities. These are designed to equip them with essential digital skills and prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow.
Our Activities for Teen Girls
Aj Ty v IT Coding club is a regular meeting space for girls interested in the exciting world of technology. Clubs focus on teaching practical skills in programming, web development, artificial intelligence, IoT, and computer graphics. Participants can use these skills to deepen their interest in IT or prepare for future studies and careers.

Developed in collaboration with ESET, the Security Girls project emphasizes the importance of safe behavior in cyberspace. Its mission is to provide middle and high school students with foundational knowledge in cybersecurity. Upon completion, graduates become Security Girls—ambassadors for safe online practices in their communities.
Girl’s Day brings together IT companies, organizations, and high school girls from across Slovakia to inspire young women to study computer science and pursue IT careers. This event is part of the global celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in IT, held annually on the fourth Thursday of April. We have organized this event in Slovakia since its inception in 2014.
Project Spoznaj IT faCOOLty introduces high school girls to studying IT and related fields at the college or university level. Participants spend a day at a university IT faculty, guided by a mentor (a current student), attending lectures, practical exercises, and experiencing the atmosphere of university life.
We regularly visit high schools to conduct hands-on workshops on a variety of topics. These sessions expand the scope of computer science classes and showcase the vast opportunities IT offers for further study and career development.

Sometimes, all it takes is a short 1–2 hour session to ignite an interest in IT. These introductory workshops, often called “taster sessions,” can spark long-term curiosity or help girls discover which area of IT suits them best. Check the Events section for an updated list of courses.
Through our TECHLIB initiative, we provide a technical library where teachers and students can borrow hardware for personal learning or use in computer science classes.

FIIT je jedinou čisto informatickou fakultou v Bratislave. Je to mladá fakulta, ktorá si aj napriek krátkemu pôsobeniu rýchlo vybudovala prestíž. Fakulta má programy akreditované aj Britskou radou pre Inžinierstvo, takže po skončení škole dostanete diplom platný i v zahraničí.
