The working trip started for us with a meeting with “Cyfrowy Dialog”. This is an organization that runs two schools in Warsaw – a primary and a secondary school – that have ,,DobraTU” in their name and emphasize the following values – accessibility, openness, safety, diversity and autonomy.
The organisation Cyfrowy Dialog describes the school as a place for people who want to learn primarily for themselves, not for grades. They highly value the passions and interests of their students, both in and out of school. They are opposed to the traditional school system where competition and comparison is a daily part of life and a source of stress and fear for children.
Promoting digital learning
The staff are a group of modern education enthusiasts who are constantly looking for new solutions and ways of development, which is very close to our hearts. The Cyfrowy Dialog organisation focuses on the promotion of digital education, aiming to improve the quality of education through the integration of modern technologies into school curricula.
Cyfrowy Dialog provides training and materials for teachers to use digital tools effectively in the classroom. They collaborate with various institutions, including ministries and educational organizations. Their activities contribute to preparing students for the challenges of the digital future.
Bridging the gap
Cyfrowy Dialog also organizes various events, conferences and workshops on digital transformation in education. Within their projects, they introduce innovative approaches to education. They seek to narrow the digital divide between urban and rural schools by providing access to technology and educational resources for all.

Women in Tech Summit 2024
After a day packed with cutting-edge education, our steps led to the Women in Tech Summit 2024 held on 19 and 20 June in Warsaw. This is the largest conference and job fair for women in tech in Europe. The aim was to strengthen the role of women in IT, promote diversity and inclusion and offer a space for sharing knowledge and experiences. The event included a wide range of lectures, workshops, mentoring programmes and networking opportunities.
Latest technological innovations and career development in IT
Keynote speakers included Anca Goron, CTO from Microsoft, who focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning, and Jane Smith, senior data scientist from Google, who spoke about the latest trends in data analytics and big data. Other notables included Elena Poughia, founder of Datanatives, and Marissa Mayer, former CEO of Yahoo and an expert on digital innovation.
The summit agenda included various discussions on the latest technological innovations, career development in the IT sector, as well as hands-on workshops on programming, cybersecurity and other topical areas. Attendance at the summit was global, providing a unique opportunity to make new contacts and develop professional skills.
Great atmosphere, pleasant environment and black ice cream
On several stages, the programme ran throughout the day. The conference also included a smaller Career Stage, where women gave presentations on the specific visions and goals of the company they represented. There was coffee and popcorn, and Netflix even gave away black ice cream. The Summit had its own app, which we enjoyed because it made it easier to keep track of time. About 80 % of the attendees were women.
There were food stalls outside the expo, so if attendees didn’t fancy vegan and vegetarian food (which the summit offered), there was plenty to choose from. In the building next door, there was a pleasantly surprising area set aside for relaxation, as well as a baby changing room (although there were no babies).
Time spent on foreign trips is always a nice change and a great investment in the development of our organization and in building relationships with foreign countries.
